I won Opinion Outpost's Instant Win

All this time, I wasn't sure it was real.  But I just won the fifty dollars on Opinion Outpost's instant win.  Usually when you fail a survey they give you the option of clicking the instant win, and all this time, nothing ever came of it.  But today, I just won it!

Quick Rewards Bonus Surveys

I haven't done an update in awhile.  Too much drama in my life.  But I have still been doing surveys when I can.

Quick Rewards just came out with a bonus survey program.  You can join it in their survey section.  They say some of the surveys pay up to five dollars per survey.  But they don't send alot of them in a month.  But it does add up and very well worth joining the bonus program.  It's free to join.  And all you do is make money.

Only Cash Surveys did pay me my twenty dollars, but it took about a month and a half for them to process it, which I think is insanely long.  That coupled with that they take almost a month to even credit any surveys you do, it's just way too long to make anything off them.  Stick with the faster paying sites.

Happy Holidays!

Ten Bucks From The Bed

I haven't updated in awhile cause my month was busy with alot of life stuff.  So I didn't get to work the surveys that much this money.  I only made about thirty five dollars, but it paid for my gas in my car.

Today, I really sat here and worked some and I ended up making ten dollars and ten cents right from the bed.  It definitely still pays to do this.  I got paid to watch some tv shows and commercials just from one of the surveys.  It really wasn't bad.

Busy weeks ahead with the holidays, but after all that, then I can get back to working these surveys and making more money.

I hope anyone reading this has a great Thanksgiving!

Tax Box Time Again

Total money earned that I have seen and received this month:  $95.87

Total money earned but pending $20.00

I was too sick alot of the month to really concentrate on making alot, but I came close if you add my pending twenty from Only Cash Surveys.  They finally let me put in for a cashout, but they said they could take up to a month to send it to Paypal.

It helps, but I'm still struggling.  I just don't get enough in and the economy sux.

I worked alot of sites for all this.  Alot of it came from Opinion, Cash4Free, Cashle, QuickRewards, and Pinecone.

It's still great to be able to make anything.  I just wish I was well enough to do more.

Elite

I finally made Elite status on Quick Rewards.  The only real benefit to that is if you have enough points, you can get a gift certificate.  I don't have enough points yet for that.  But I do like having the Elite Member bar.

I am, however, seeing benefits for being a Gold member on Cashle.  They pay me instantly when I ask for the money now.  That is a big plus.

Today's fun freebie in the snail mail was six packets of sausage snacks from Johnsonville.  I had signed up for the freebie over a month ago, finally got it today.  They were fresh and good, and a great surprise.

Total Earnings for the Month

It's that day again, the day I go over my total earnings for the month to put in my tax box.  So, this month's total earnings $123.81 that's from a combination of sites I worked:

Quick Rewards:  $22.16

Cashle:  $9.55

Cash4Free:  $34.00

Pinecone Research:  $6.00

Opinion Outpost:  $50.10

DollarSurveys:  $2.00

I have not taken out for taxes on it yet.  But even with taking out for taxes, it's probably at least a full hundred for the month.  And I was too sick most of the month to do alot of this, so I probably could have earned more if I'd been able to.

I also made Gold status on Cashle this week.  And I'm only four surveys away from Elite status on Quick Rewards.  Just fun bonuses.

If you are new to my blog, how to start doing surveys is in the first few blog posts, so make sure you read all my entries.

Easy Money

Today was an unusually good survey day.  I got paid eight dollars to watch a one hour British tv show that will air on BBC America.  I did have to take some notes because they asked two plot questions to prove I watched it.  But it was fine, I finished the survey and got paid.  That was through Opinion Outpost.  I highly recommend joining them.  They have been paying me pretty well for awhile.  Interestingly enough, this survey was from OTX.  Most people hate OTX.  My experience with OTX has been mixed.  Sometimes, you get lucky and get a good survey out of them, other times, they will kick you out or screw you at the end.  It's always a gamble when you take an OTX survey.  I like doing their movie and tv surveys when they let me.

Reminder tip, always try to clear the cookies and browser cache before doing each survey because just forgetting one time can cause you to not be credited.

Shampoo and Conditioner

Today, I got a box in the mail with a full sized shampoo and conditioner from a survey company.  Totally free.  All I have to do is use it for a week and send them back a short questionnaire.  So, I got paid for the original survey and I got free products.  Very worth doing it.

I got paid again from Pinecone Research.  Yes, you only get a few surveys from them, but they pay three bucks a survey and it adds up.

Cashle and QuickRewards are still paying me regularly and Cash4Free.  All three credit pretty fast.  And I did get paid from Dollarsurveys again.  It's all worth doing.  I had to pay for a prescription med today that my insurance wouldn't cover, and my earnings paid for it.  I was real grateful that I had it.

Got Paid from Cash4Free Today

I posted a testimonial at their site and you can see my proof pic here.  It took me about a week to make $17.80 from them.  But they definitely paid me.  They only pay to verified Paypal accounts, so you have to be verified first.  And the first time you ask for your money, they will send an automated phone message to you with a pin number to confirm your account.  It can be to a cell phone, I didn't have any problems.

I made this money just doing surveys all week at their site.

Commisions and Referrals Myths

I really wanted to post the truth when it comes to commissions and referrals from any of these survey and reward sites.  I've been hassled by people about it to the point of someone getting my Yahoo Answers account suspended just for posting a link to this blog in questions on how to make money online.  People have a huge misconception when it comes to what you can make off a referral.  The truth is, you really don't make anything at all, no matter what the website claims.

I have nineteen referrals on QuickRewards.  You want to know what I've made off them?  Eleven cents total!  That's it.  You do not make money off referrals, you make money off doing the actual work of the surveys or any offers you do on the sites.  And IMO, the offers are a total waste and most of them don't credit.  So really, you have to do surveys and that's it.

My Cashle account, I've got ten referrals, they do pay you fifty cents per referral, however, if that person happens to sign up from the wrong country, you do not get paid.  So, out of my ten, a few were from the wrong country.  Seriously, you can't get much money at all off a referral on these sites.

It's still always a good idea to post your referral link anyway in case you do get some perk off a site, but you are still going to have to really work for the money.

I just find it upsetting when people think I'm phishing for referrals by posting the link.  They just don't get it, you don't make anything that way.  What am I going to do with eleven cents?  Really.

It's also sad that so many people don't see a real thing when it's right in front of them because of all the scammers on the net.  My method works.  The sites I use are real.  You won't make a ton of money, you will make enough at the end of the month for a good week's worth of groceries, if you put the time into it.  You really can make money from home off the internet without any scams.  And I feel sorry for those that don't believe it.  All you have to do is try one site, do a few surveys and in a few days time, you'll see the money.  But don't expect to make it off referrals, cause seriously, you won't.  Even I was surprised that with nineteen referrals, all I got was eleven cents in over a month.

Survey Says

So far, Cash4Free took a full 24 hours to credit me, but they did credit me. The payout is at fifteen dollars to Paypal. Each survey is worth .80 cents and you can do five in a day. So, if you manage to qualify for most of them, you can make four dollars a day and in less than a week, you can have fifteen dollars from this site. They also have the usual round of offers, but I try to stay away from them since most are designed to get you to spend that money you just made. Just stick to the surveys and you can make money. If all you do is surveys from this site, you should be able to make a good sixty dollars a month. So if you combine this site with QuickRewards and Cashle, you can do pretty good. I'm averaging between a hundred and a hundred and twenty dollars or so a month, it's a good week's worth of groceries or nearly my entire cable bill.  I'm still working Opinion Outpost whenever I can manage to qualify for one of their surveys.  And I still do Dollarsurveys when I can.

It's really not a bad way to make extra money.  Some surveys are way too long, though.  I did one yesterday about video games and it took over an hour.  And the whole time, I was like, OMG, I'm only getting a few cents for this hour.  But really, at the end of the month, it adds up to alot more than a few cents.

Cash4Free

While hunting around for more sites, I came across Cash4Free.  This site is just like Cashle and QuickRewards, except, they pay higher for the surveys.  They pay you .80 cents per survey and you can do about five of them per day.  They credit you at midnight the following day.  Cashout is to Paypal with a fifteen dollar minimum, however, at the high rate they pay you for the surveys, you can make that in a few days time.  And people have said they pay pretty fast when you request your payout.  Definitely worth trying this site.

Pinecone

Pinecone Research is open again.  You might want to try signing up.  They pay three dollars per survey, however, you won't get many.  I've only gotten one since I signed up, but I did get paid.
Pinecone Research

Walmart has a few samples back up, so you might want to check their website.

Here's a really cute freebie, it's a USB Flash drive totally free with a Xmas santa on it.
Santa Flash

I wasn't sure whether or not to leave up ParadiseClicks.  Some people said they are a scam, but I think it's that they take four months from the time you request a payout, which truly sux.  So it's up to you if you want to use them.  I'm still looking for much faster paying sites.

Paid To Click and Why You Should

Are Paid to Click sites worth it?  Well, if you look at it in the long term.  I've been using ParadiseClicks  I like this site because they credit you instantly, and they give you alot of ads.  In about two hours time, you can make a dollar.  Now, that doesn't sound like alot of money, and the minimum payout to Paypal is twenty dollars.  However, if you look at it as, yes it will take you a month to see your money, but, you will have that twenty dollars at the end of the month.  And it will make a great addition to doing your surveys.  When you run out of surveys to do that day or you get bored and need a break from the surveys, this site is easy and at the end of the month, that's another twenty dollars you'll have.  So is it worth it?  I think so.

Got Paid Today

Today was a great mail day for me.  I got three checks totaling $25.50, two from Opinion Outpost and one from Paypal that was an accumulation of Cashle and Quick Rewards with maybe a dollar from dollarsurveys.  So just from being home in bed or on the couch, I made $25.50.  It is really worth it.  I went to the grocery store last week and used money I made from doing the surveys and it was a great feeling to be able to buy some stuff.  I was also able to go to Walmart and buy myself a new phone, a cheap one, and a new pair of sneakers.  And all that came from my earnings.

Also in my mail today was a free sample of shampoo and conditioner from Nexxus.  They gave me a three dollar off coupon if I want to buy their stuff.

So, today was a happy mail day.

I have been looking into other sites to try, but so far, they are too slow to pay or a total ripoff.  Clixsense is a huge ripoff.  Don't even bother with them.  They charge a monster three dollar fee just for you to get your check and they won't let you use Paypal.  And you have to wait till you have ten bucks to even be able to cashout, so they steal three and you only made seven dollars and it can take you a month and a half to make that seven bucks.  It's not worth it.  There are faster paying sites that have no minimum and when I get in with a few, I'll post them here for you.  I have a list of them to check out when I get time.

The whole point is to get credited and paid fast and to be able to cashout as soon as you want to.  That means you want a no minimum site with fast payout and usually one that will take Paypal.  Paypal might charge you that dollar fifty fee to get a check, but if you dump all your accumulated money into it and wait till you have a decent amount in there, the fee won't matter as much.  I usually dump the money in and then request it when it's about twelve dollars, so my check is closer to ten dollars when I get it.

There is no reason why you can't make money like I am.  Be persistant.  It doesn't matter if you don't qualify for a survey or if they screw you at the end of one, just keep trying with new surveys until you get one that will let you do it.  It all depends on how persistant you are, how determined, how much inner drive you have.  Don't take no for an answer.  If it says you didn't qualify, click the try another survey button.  If it still won't go, clear your browser's cookies and repeat the process.  Try the other surveys on the sites, too.  Just keep plugging away at it, you will eventually get some and it will add up to money.

Tips for qualifiying:  Make yourself a profile sheet that has your info on it, so you can just copy and paste it in without having to retype your address a million times.  Take notes during a survey, it will help you with the questions.  If they show you a commercial, take notes.  If they show you a picture, you can take notes or do a print screen and paste it into paint on your computer to refer back to it.

Make money! :D

Freebies

I had more good freebies in the mail today.  I got my box of P&G samples.  And yesterday, I got a free 2011 calendar and a free neti pot.  All this, just for signing up for free stuff.  A great area to find these freebies in Cashle's Deal area.  To get there, you go to Cashle click on Earn Cash, look for Other, Deals.  The Deals area is the real freebie area where Cashle members post places to sign up for stuff.

Also in my mail today was a check for six dollars and fifty cents from  Opinion Outpost.  It does pay to do their surveys when you can.

And I had my first survey from Pinecone Research today.  Pinecone Research is hard to get into.  They only open registrations once in awhile.  But they are supposed to pay about three dollars a survey.  You can try to get in here:

So, good stuff in the snail mail today.

My Earnings This Month

I made a tax box last night and went over all my earnings for this month.  So far, in ten days, from my bed and couch, I made about eighty dollars.  That's with working the sites I have listed.  And that was only half a month.  Not bad for not moving from the bed and couch.

Adpaid paid me today.  I don't really recommend them that much because they were slow to credit me for the surveys, but once they did credit me, I got the money fast.  They are good as an extra, but I try to concentrate on sites that credit and pay fast.

So far, my fastest crediting and paying site is Cashle  They credit me sometimes within minutes of my finishing a survey.  The second best is QuickRewards  They credit me within two days.  And I still recommend DollarSurveys  They take a week to pay you, but you will see it.

Opinion Outpost does credit immediately when you finish a survey, but you can't cashout unless you have five dollars.  And they give you so few surveys that it's hard to qualify to get that five dollars.

Sites I don't recommend are Toluna and OnlyCashSurveys.  Toluna will take you like six months to see twenty dollars.  They are a huge waste of time.  Their point limit is insane.  And OnlyCashSurveys, they haven't bothered to credit me for the surveys I did in over ten days.  I don't know if they ever will.  I'd stay away from them.  The whole point is to use sites that credit and pay quickly, so you make your money fast.  Waiting six months just to see twenty dollars is bad, not worth it, and a waste of time.

So, stick with the fast paying sites and have fun making that money!

Taxes and Paid Surveys

Do you have to pay taxes on survey earnings?  That depends on where you live.  In the US, there is a law that once you have made six hundred dollars on a survey site, that site must send you a tax form.  And then you do have to file.  The smartest thing to do is to keep a good record of your earnings.  Don't spend all your earnings if you plan on making alot in case you do have to pay something on it.  Keep receipts of anything you might be able to take off on your taxes.  You might be able to take off your phone/internet bill, since you use it to do the surveys.  Computer repairs, car gas to buy computer supplies, any office type supplies like paper, pens.  Computer supplies like backup discs.

If you do get hit with a tax form, make an appointment with a local accountant and make sure you have all this stuff to show.

There are some advantages to filing taxes on the earnings.  In some states, if you get a rent rebate, they will give you more if you show you made some money.  Earnings also count toward your Social Security, since you are showing that you worked, even self employed.

If you are going into doing paid surveys as a self employed home business, which you really can do, you can even get a tax ID and self incorporate, have your own little home company name.  It really just depends on what you want to do.  There can be fees for incorporating, so you might want to wait till you have earned enough.  Just remember to document everything you're doing.

Making Money From My Bed

Today, I made $6.50 just doing two surveys from my bed for Opinion Outpost.  I also made a few dollars off QuickRewards, but they take a few days to credit on some stuff.  It really pays to do these surveys.

Yesterday, a friend and I went to Arby's and got free roast beef sandwiches because we had coupons, just from signing up at the Arby's website.  So that pays, too.  Anything you enjoy, go to the websites and signup because eventually they will give you coupons for stuff.  Things you've never even thought of signing up for, like your toilet paper brand or shampoo, the companies give coupons.

How to Get Free Things By Snail Mail

The best way to get free samples is to go to websites from companies and products that you like.  Most of the time, the sites will have an area where you can sign up for coupons and news.  Do it.  And join their Facebook, too.  You'll find that when they do promotions, you might be able to get a free sample.

Did you know that Walmart has a free sample page?  They do, and you can get free samples of things sent right to your home.
Walmart Samples

Some good freebie sites to join are:
FreeMania on Facebook
Free Snatcher on Facebook
The Freebie Blogger
Hey, It's Free
Start Sampling
Savings Mania

You can also get free food if you sign up with all your favorite restaurant websites.  They often send coupons to people signed up with them.

I got alot of free stuff this month.  I got a deodorant sample, two Starbucks coffee samples, a free bag of Purina cat food for my cat, Dove shampoo and conditioner samples, Xantac and Prilosec samples.  And it was alot of fun to get the stuff.  There is no shipping on any of it.  Good free sample sites never charge.  So the next time you want free stuff, surf these free sample sites or your favorite brand sites and get freebies sent to your snail mail.  It's fun, and it's free.  And you can do it from home.

How I Am Making Money While Sick in Bed

For many years, I searched and searched for a way to make money at home.  Most of the time, I'm too sick to go out much.  And for a very long time, I didn't think there was a way to make money from home.  I really thought it was all scams.  I spent alot of time praying that I would find the right thing.  And my prayers were answered.  Somehow, God put the idea in my head to reinvestigate paid Survey Sites.

Paid Survey Sites are sites that will pay you for doing surveys.  And the legitimate ones really do.  Even better, there are sites that have reward programs.  They not only pay you for doing the surveys, but they give you discounts on any shopping you might want to do.  And you can save up points or cash to get gift cards for stores like Amazon, if you want to.

How much money can you make?  There are people making several hundred dollars a month doing this.  However, it takes alot of work, persistance, patience, and belonging to more than one site.

How do you make the money?  The money is made in small amounts.  Most survey sites will pay you anywhere from fifty cents to a dollar to complete a survey.  Sometimes you get one that is worth more.  I did one this week and made seven dollars on one survey and it only took me ten minutes to do it!  Now, that might not sound like alot of money, but what happens is, if you look at what you are making per day and times that by the days in a month, see what you get.  Say you want to make three dollars a day.  Times the three dollars by thirty days in a month.  That is ninety dollars in your pocket.  What if you want to double that and make six dollars a day?  That's one hundred and eighty dollars a month in your pocket.  So, now you're wondering, what's the catch?

There is no catch.  You are self employed, working under your own steam.  You sign up at the sites for FREE, you do the daily surveys at each site every day.  You watch the money pile up.  Most sites will allow you to withdraw to Paypal or ask for a check, or you can choose a gift certificate, if you want. Minimum withdrawal for Paypal is usually a dollar.  Checks are usually five dollars and fifty cents.

There are fees.  Some sites charge fifty cents for a check, but they usually don't charge for you to withdraw to Paypal.  Paypal will charge you a dollar fifty to request a check, but nothing if you are verified and have it put in your bank account.  So when you are making money doing surveys, remember to take off for these fees.

Other things to know:  Read every faq at each site.  Learn when you can cash out and how often you need to stay active on the site.  Learn each site's rules.

You can get perks from referrals.  So definitely tell everyone to sign up.

Do these sites take international members?  YES!  If you are in the US, Canada or the UK, most of them will take you.  And some will even take others.  All you really need is a Paypal account.  If you have a Paypal account, you are good to go.

Will you get spammed?  Most sites will allow you to use a secondary email for anything you need to sign up at, so just get a free yahoo mail account or something for that.  Just make sure that when you want to get paid you have your real Paypal email in the Withdrawal area of each site.

What else should you know?  You will NOT qualify for every survey.  In fact, you might have to try ten times till you get one.  You might get an unlucky day and not get alot.  Try a different site when that happens.  Just keep trying and trying because you will get some and you will get paid.  Also, there are some shady ones where you will do it and at the end, they screw you over and say you didn't qualify for the "real" survey.  It happens.  Not that often, but it happens.  Or you can get "technical difficulties" right after you complete a survey.  Just be prepared that it can happen, and just clear your cookies and try again.  If you don't qualify for a survey, they usually let you keep trying till you do, or just go back to the original survey site you came from and start over.  Just clear the cookies.

Surveys can take anywhere from a few hours to a week to credit.  The sites are not scamming you, just wait a good week.  You'll see the money show up.  Some sites are faster than others.  Cashle usually credits me within a few hours.  QuickRewards credits me within two days.

Important:  Some sites like Cashle require you to click a green checkbox after completing a survey so you get paid.  DO IT.

Things to avoid:  Money Traps!  Some of these sites are full of money traps.  A money trap is an "offer" where you are supposed to sign up to do something.  DON'T!!!!  They will eat your profit.  You are here to make money, NOT to spend it.  This is why you should never stray from the Daily Survey areas.  Just do surveys.  Don't mess with "offers".  You can do a free newsletter signup, but make sure it's really free first.  Most sites will lie and say their "offers" are free.  No, they aren't.  Read the fine print, you have to "participate" or "complete additional offers".  Don't!  Just stay in the Daily survey area until you are very comfortable with a site and know what you are doing.

Now, how much money did I make so far?  Well, in two and a half weeks time this month, I made about fifty dollars.  That's working all the sites I'm going to list for you.  I worked each site, daily.  And that's with taking off for Paypal fees.

What are these surveys about?  Are they fun to do?  Every survey is random.  You might get a fun movie or tv survey where they want you to watch a trailer or ad, and then your next survey might be about motor oil for your car.  Half are fun, half are boring and tedious and too long.  I did get to play two trivia games on RewardTV for money one time from the Cashle site.  So I actually got paid to play games.  It really just depends on the site.  Look at it as a job.  Half the time, you'll have fun, half the time, not so much.

How long does it take to do each survey?  Surveys usually take a half hour to an hour to complete. They always lie and tell you fifteen minutes or twenty minutes. It's never true. I even had a crazy long one that took two hours and I was determined to stick it out and get my money. I did get credited for it at the end.

Tip:  If you have short term memory loss and they show you ads and trailers, they will ask you questions on what you saw.  You can take a printscreen and paste it into paint on your computer of the ad so you can refer back to it, or you can keep a pad handy and take notes.  Write down the brand, the company you saw, shape of the bottle, whatever.

Are you ready to make money from your bed or couch now?  Here are my top sites for making money:

QuickRewards
This site is the best. You can do surveys, daily clicks, and they also have a great shopping discount program. You don’t have to shop or buy anything. You can just do surveys. There is no minimum payout. You can request your money at any time to Paypal. Surveys usually take a week to credit, then you’ll see the money show up. The site is free to join. You just sit back and earn money.

Cashle
Cashle is similar to Quickrewards. It's a bit more involved, you have to remember to check off that you completed a survey when you do one. But it seems to be a site to make fast money.  They credit me fast, usually within two hours on most surveys and stuff.  Beware of their "offer" area!  Stay out of it, till you know what you're doing.  Stick with the Daily Surveys!

Opinion Outpost
Strictly a survey site.  You won't get alot of surveys out of them in a month, but they pay well.  I made over eighteen dollars from them this month.  No Paypal, five dollar minimum cash out.

AdPaid
Not the most attractive looking site in the world, but they do pay after at least a week, maybe alittle more.

Treasure Trooper
A fun site with a kind of tiki island theme. It's similar to Quickrewards, but the payout is at twenty dollars and your Paypal account must be verified. Accepts both US and UK members. Has daily surveys you can do.  It's just a good change of pace from the other sites, even though you have to wait longer to get your money.

Dollarsurveys
I made five dollars this week off them. And I have a few more surveys waiting to credit. There is nothing to join here. You just give them your Paypal email address. Every survey you take, they give you a dollar. They let you do a few in a day, then their site will say there aren’t anymore surveys. So you just wait till the next day and start again.  The only drawback is, you have no way of tracking how much money you're making or what survey credited.  But they will pay you.

I hope this blog answered all your questions.  Just try it, make money from home.  It does add up at the end of the month.  Have fun.
